Linux Performance

While the performance of the application on Windows is good (other than the long startup) the performance of the application on Linux is not acceptable. When editing and inserting branches the application is unable to keep up with my typing and it misses key strokes. I am not a fast typist. The screen redraw is too slow. Adding a new branch takes several seconds, even scrolling around the mind map is too slow. Plus there is missing basic functionality in the Linux version that exists in Windows, such as the ability to expand or collapse a single branch.
